On November 29th, the 10th Guangdong Modern Agriculture Expo and the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Agricultural Products Buyer Summit opened at the Trading Market of Poverty Alleviation Collaboration between the Eastern and Western regions in Guangdong. The theme of the Expo is “Bay Area Quality Open Sharing”, which focuses on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People ’s Republic of China for modern agricultural development in Guangdong, further promote the circulation and trade of agricultural products, strengthen inter-provincial and Greater Bay Area agricultural exchanges and cooperation, deepen the docking exchanges between Guangdong's agriculture and the international market, and achieve win-win development.

Israel is a country with advanced agricultural high-tech. Mr. Peleg Lewi,Consul General of Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou, as the sole foreign consul general in South China invited by the organizer, attended the opening ceremony and made a speech. It is hoped that there is more and more cooperation between Israel and Guangdong in agriculture.

How to rely on the advantages of geographical of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative to promote the exchanges between Guangdong's agriculture and the international market? In  the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Agricultural Products Buyer Summit, exhibitors from inside and outside Guangdong province, as well as buyers from Hong Kong, Macau and overseas exchanged their opinions.

Ms. Fu Xixi communicated with Mr. Zachyi, the president of Israel Chamber of Commerce, Guagnzhou. The two sides hope to work together to make practical and effective results for the agricultural cooperation between Guangdong and Israel.
